ALONDRA HUPE
Hello! My name is Alondra Hupe, pronounced HOOP. A little about me is that I am Mexican American, speak fluently in Spanish, former U.S Army, late 20s, married, 6 fur babies, and a degree in writing.
I am the owner and director of events for Desert Daisy Events. We are an Arizona based wedding & event planning company. My passion for designing and planning events began at a young age planning my godson’s birthdays. Then it spread to dinner parties and eventually my own wedding. I realized I found so much happiness from creating events from start to finish.
After the encouragement of so many I turned my creative passion into a business. Now with Desert Daisy Events I have the privilege to help create beautiful and unforgettable experiences for others.

MEET THE FOUNDER
My name is Yesenia "Yesi" Ponce (pronounced YES-ee Pohn-seh), born and raised in Chicago and now proudly based in Arizona. A little about me is that I come from a big family as the oldest of six siblings, love spending time with family and friends, enjoy traveling, music, and exploring new experiences and hobbies. I’m also a proud dog and cat mom to three fur babies who keep life full and grounded.
With over 10 years of experience in events, experiential marketing, talent coordination, recruiting, and event logistics, my passion for creating meaningful experiences grew through working behind the scenes in fast-paced environments including festivals, brand activations, guest experience, staffing, and live events. Over the years, I realized how much I truly enjoy bringing people together and helping create memorable experiences from start to finish.
After years of building relationships and supporting both clients and talent, I found so much fulfillment in helping bring visions to life while ensuring every detail and every person involved feels supported, valued, and taken care of throughout the process. Now with Desert Daisy Events, I have the privilege of helping create seamless, thoughtful, and unforgettable experiences for others. My goal is to make every client, guest, and team member feel genuinely cared for while creating experiences that are not only beautiful, but meaningful and lasting from beginning to end.

At Desert Daisy Events, every celebration is designed with intention, beauty, and heart. Through a meaningful partnership with Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, Desert Daisy Events is extending that care beyond the event day to support pets and families in need across Arizona.
This cause is deeply personal to Alondra. From years of supporting Lost Our Home to fostering animals like George, her love for animals has become part of the foundation of Desert Daisy Events. Through this giving initiative, 10% of all event packages will directly help support safe shelters, medical care, pet food, crisis support, and second chances for animals who need them most.
Desert Daisy Events is also honored to support ADLA and their work with community cats, a cause close to Alondra’s heart through her own experience helping care for a local feral cat colony.
Each wedding, party, and gathering becomes more than a beautiful occasion. It becomes an opportunity to celebrate with purpose, give with intention, and contribute to a more compassionate community.
